Yes ah, my daughter said that it's too bad that Valerie didn't get to receive any medal. Maybe running relay was too competitive.

haha, but she got bronze medal from her ice skating compeition last Sun. She will have another competition end of Nov at Shenzhen. Hope she will get the good result la.

Yeah, same for my daughter, she didn't get any medal in the 60m running relay, but she said it was fun and she wants to run again.

Congratulations!!  How long has your daughter been learing ice skating?  Is she learning figure skating?  I found my daughter is not improving even though she has learnt ice skating for 1.5 months now, I think it might be because she is so scared to fall onto the ice, she told me it's painful.  Anyway, wish your daughter best of luck for the coming competition.

My daughter, Vanessa, is sick & can't go to school today, can anyone post the notes from the school's handbook here sometime tonight?   Really worried to miss school for a day or two.  Hard to catch up with the work.

Hope Vanessa get well soon. Vanessa is Valerie best frd too.
Ok, we will post the handbook notes ASA we back home. My daughter learnt ice skate since she was 3 years old. She loves it a lot rather than ballet. So, she stop ballet and keep ice skate.

I also worry my daughter health. She cannot sick, because Nov is important month for them (mid term exam). I forced her to wear cloths and drink chinese herb tea, etc to prevent sickness. So, take care all the girls here. Add oil

Yes, she was back to school yesterday.  She seems ok in the morning but coughing at night while she is sleeping!!  I thought the teacher will ask someone in the class to write down the things she needs to do on a piece of paper so that she can re-do all the missing homework last night, just like what she did when one of her classmates was sick, but to my surprise, no one was doing that for her.  Thanks to Christina, I manage to get the information from her & Valerie.  I know how you feel when your daughter was out sick for a week & she needs to re-do all the work.  It's very stressful for the parents!!  My daughter was being asked to go out during the Chinese lession yesterday in order to do the English writing assessment that she has missed on Wed., so she has missed the Chinese lessons for 2 days!     Really need to keep our daughter health & fit so that they will not miss school because of sickness.

We need working hard this weekend, becasue the mid term test in next two weeks. Hope this will gone fast. My youngest boy wants to play with sister. And i want take a rest too.

Mid-term test is coming on 19th.
So worry, and I don't have any AL to apply and help my daughter study at home during this and next week.
Any mom apply AL and stay at home review with the kid.

Today's handbook says Read Intranet: VA Ext. Comp (C), but I didn't see anything posted on the intranet in related to this. Any idea?
I also saw a worksheet of Lunch Concert. I think this is something to be completed later, right?
Chriskoo, haha, I am not on AL but no pay leave. My son is on holiday today and he always refuses to be home with my helper. Ay... I really need to change helper. I don't think I will be able to pour everything into the head of my daughter during my no pay leave, but I hope that I could give her some kind of support by being with her during her study time. My girl is not as obedient as Valerie, if she is not in the mood, she will not study.
