It seems pretty low because St. Peter has just released the updated result. QC (1), KC (13), St. Paul Co-ed (3), St. Jo (2), St. Paul's Boy (4), St. Lu (30)...
St Peter has 17x(boys and girl) students and St Louis has just 4x(boys) students. So the result of St Louis is better than St Peter. Pls click the link below to see the result 2012 of St Louis. http://stlouisps.edu.hk/site1/news/grad.html
Seems like St Louis this year has 57 boys graduated in P6, as counted in their class photos posted on web.
You can count the numbers of students from their class photos on the web for each of the schools, seems like St Peter this year has 165 graduates, AM plus PM, boys plus girl, if I am not counting wrong.
hyfamily, I hope so. But, how do you know those 25% have admitted into schools better than St. Louis ne? any actual count on those 25% or just derived it from 70%-45%?
I still don't understand how come "zero" St. Jo which is in the same district (Western & Central). Unless no one applied.
As St. Peter is boy & girl, 13 to KC is about 13/80 (16%) at St. Peter vs. 3/57 (5%) at St Lu. It still seems like the result of P6 from St Lu is .....
Only 70% staying in English school is no good. The next school, Kau Yan (Chinese Primary School) have just released the result. 88.9% enrolled English secondary school.
The 88.9% of Kau Yan is only referred to "入讀以英文為主要教學語言中學百分比". I wonder this term is exactly the same as the 英中 we considered.
For example, if a school offers 5 classes in S1, while 3 of them are 英文班 and 2 of them are 中文班, I wonder if they will also claim themselves as 以英文為主要教學語言中學.
The problem is... unlike other primary schools in western, St Lu haven't disclosed any actual statistics for the results of enrollment to the secondary schools for past three years. There are only showing a few secondary schools (5 or 8 other than St Lu School). Are they all covering all 25%? If yes, definitely, I will be happy. I just want to know what the actually percentage is covering KC, QC, La Salle, St. Paul and St. Stephen. Otherwise, it is meaningless.
I guess they are covering in the 25% (Band1a) students and I also want to know the actually percentage even it is not so important. I hope Chanpp921 or P6 SLS mum get more information for us.
