According to my elder daughter's experience (now P5), I think I wld consider they dont have much dictations, tests.
Dictations (both Eng and Ch) conduct sometimes every 2-3 weeks, and not necessarily dictate on their own, i.e. Teachers read out the sentences. Only twice a year for tests and exams, each of them contributes 10% (test) and 40% (exam) to the total scores at the end of the year.
Heard TWGPS used to be more difficult / more works in the past.
