I suppose my next worry is : keen competition. I think KCS primary is becoming more popular than a few years ago!
I think no need to be too worried. Children will find their way though I am one of the 'mad' mum, sorb knew that. :)
But well prepared is good start. For example: From K2 onwards they may start to learn words, so do some revision at home. Maths may start a bit early if your kid can cope with (but not many parents will agree to this) so that he/she will not agraid of maths. But bear in mind, don't be too pushy or you will get the opposite result. This is always the GOLDERN RULE.
I think don't be too worried. Children pressure comes from parents at early stage. So if they could survive in the tough environment then they will have a good start. I do not make assumption for them. If you start to think exam is hard and sth of pressure, then you will start to pass this message to them. In KCS there are 3 tests and 3 exams in a year, to most of the children, exams and tests are nothing, just part of their life and they know start to study when it comes to exam and tests. |
