Have you started to teach your son such as colour, shape etc?

My daughter only points at some pictures from the book and say "ga or ba".

I let her to play cube stacking and teaches her to recognise different colours, but she is not interested.

Oh....u shouldn't be worry about your daughter isn't able to walk well. All doctors said it is normal for babies to pick up walking when they are about 18 months old. Besides, all babies are different ...

As compared with other branches of Victoria, Causeway Bay is the most famous one.

Chiangsu-Chekiang is also very competitive because medium of teaching is putonghua.

Hi ML_Ngan, I agree it's tough for both So Jit and Victoria that's why we need to consider other "easier" options.  FYI, So Jit registration starts Sept 1 so note the date!

I heard some parents said that the syllabus is quite simple.  If you plan to apply for other famous kindergarten or famous primary schools in the future, it will be difficult to catch up.

Tutor Time Wow at Sulfork Road, Kowloon Tong.  She attends class every Saturday from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon.

I am very lucky that I do not need to wait.  I remembered that I sent e-mail and requested to schedule a visit to this school, after visititing, then I asked was Saturday class available if I started the class on 7 March 2009.  Finally, the school accepted my daughter immediately.

My daughter started her playgroup class when she was 8.5 months old.

I never hear any nursery or kindergarten schools request for profolio, even the school is famous.  It is funny!  I cannot imagine a little kid will have any specific experience or achievement to be written down.

I heard some BK parents that students at HKPS N1 will be automatically promoted to K1, so how about students at Keen Mind N1 will also be automatically promoted to K1?

Any parents who have elder sons or daughters study at both schools and can share experiences to us?

Browsing the BK website parents discussion, Kentville will have its website available this year and Good Hope will open its kindergarten, probably Year 2010.

Playgroups usually admit babies from 6 months to 2 years old.  Nursery schools admit kids from 2 years old.

My daughter has joined playgroup since 8 months old.  I would like to apply nursery school when she is 2 years old, so I start to look for some nursery schools.

Note:
Student-applicant must be at least 2 years and 8 months old as at 1 September 2010.

I heard a lot of parents will choose Cannan and Victoria nursery, how about anyone will choose LH, KM, HKPS?  Will you consider schools nearby your living area or only consider school's reputation and syllabus?  Please share your comment!

Nice to meet you!  I intend to apply HKPS & Keen Mind, I will not apply Cannan, LH, Creative, Victoria & PIPS.  If my daughter fails in these two nursery schools, I will just her continue playgroup at TT, then apply another kindergartens next year.  I don't want her feel unhappy and burden.

I have already submitted app for Cannan, will do so for Victoria. HKPS already  ...

It is because they are very "commercial", just let my daughter attempts Keen Mind and HKPS.  If not successful, I will let her to try more kindergartens next year.  Cannan and Victoria will be my final choices for kindergartens next year.  It is not difficult to apply Cannan and Victoria because they have many branches.

Just take it easy for a small kid to apply nursery.
