Almost 150,000 IB students (both Diploma (DP) and Career-related (CP) Programme) around the world are receiving their results from the May 2016 examination session, which are released today. They join a community of more than 1,493,820 IB graduates in 136 countries across the world. The number of students receiving their diplomas this year marks a 5.38 percent increase compared to last year’s exam session.
The May 2016 session showcases an average diploma score of 30.07 points (of 45 possible maximum), with 146 students achieving a perfect score. It also highlights the consistency of the global DP pass rate, which continues to remain stable as the community of IB students continues to grow.
