grade 1學中敲, grade2學西敲, grade 3開始自選…有個list,包括中西樂器20多種比你揀, 如在校外已有學習樂器並已具備頗高水平可申請豁免

yes, instrument class fee included in school tuition fee already, no extra cost.
only need to buy the instrument and music score

one more thing on the choice of instrument is that preferences must be filled in the selection form but no guarantee on allocation of first choice and can't switch/ change instrument once admitted.

since my girl is now grade 2, i dun know if any pressure from school in learning instrument

There is no pressure. My daughter in grade 6 and she is very happy with her oboe classes. The school hire all those instrument teachers if they are not available in school. You can choose from Chinese or western musical instruments.

There will be a parents' night telling you how to choose the musical instrument for your kids close to end if 2nd term.

係要考校內試，有樂器同樂理。
一、二年級：樂器係中鼓、西鼓。要考校內試既。
三年級以上係選定左既樂器。
