Went to Seminar today? At beginning, I like EC. The Principal was very very passionate about education. He is very knowledgeable about educating children and very humorous. However, I feel he is very bossy to the teachers and have to control everything by himself.

But worst is he 'look down' on famous school like he say Pui Ching kick away P6 kids is not good and also make funny of "St.-La-But" 神級 schools and try say EC is like those good school

.

Honestly, EC is only 兩三線 but of course improving. joking St.-La-But is not appropriate la.

Yes, my impression about EC changed alot. A principal who is good speaker does not mean he is a good
teacher or good leader of the school. Might have to consider other DSS or Private school.

這亦是我舊年聽完簡介會的感覺，感受到校長的理想和熱誠，但對學校完全冇增加到認識，結論是仍然唔清唔楚，但選校唔可以只靠對校長的信心

EC真係要增加透明度。

I hope the Principal will not joke about St-La-But again in the next Seminar in August, not too good.
I just read from DGS forum, their HKDSE result is phenominal (copied below for reference):

There is a reason why these schools are so famous. Let's hope EC can be like them one day!

播道的核心價值為愛, 包容, 專重, 每一個學生, 不論尖子還是落後的, 學校也同樣重視. 在我看來校長並不是LOOK DOWN或JOKE ST-LA-BUT, 而是不屑有些名校那目標為本, 趕走落後學生的做法吧, 校長應該有提到, 播道不是一間"名"校, 而是"明"校.

EC的DSE成績今年比上年進步了, 相信會不繼進步的.

我聽完簡介會後，都極之鍾意播道的理念，佢唔會要求學生只向一百分進發，而是重於教育學生做人同處事，增加將來的真正競爭力！
