The school has about 80 p6 students. My friend told me that most of the first 40 students are allocated to EMI schools, except for just a few of them being allocated to St Joseph's Anglo-Chinese Secondary School, but they would enter the EMI class. My friend believes that students ranked 40-60 would also go to St Joseph's. Those who could not get a favorite allocated school are busy to find a school now. I really hope they will get a favorite school soon.

Their allocated schools include St Paul Coed, Wah Yan HK, Wah Yan Kowloon, Sing Yin, KT Maryknoll, Shun Lee, KT Gov, Mong Man Wai, Ho Lap, etc.

It seems that the schools alloted to the students SJACPS are very good and top schools. Hope the current P.5 students can have the same good results next year.

一定會繼續好，因為出生率一直下降至03年，你現在p5，應該是01年或02年出世，出生率仲底過上年點會唔好？唉！今年小一就恐怖

EMI 是否都有包含 BAND 1 AND BAND 2？

Likely, they don't have students allocated to La Salle and Queen's. But they have at least one student accepted by DBS. They have students interviewed by La Salle, but unsuccessful. My friend said that a few students have applied for La Salle these two days, and will update me if she has good news from parents.
St Jo is a good school. It has a considerable number of students entering Sing Yin and KT Maryknoll. However, if you want your child to enter top EMI schools such as La Salle and Wah Yan Kowloon, you need to prepare your child to participate in one or two other activities, such as sport, chess, drama, speech, music, or mathematics competitions, and to do it well (get some awards). Since St Jo is an EMI primary school, EMI secondary schools love to accept EMI students. But, most EMI secondary schools have affiliated primary schools, so a lot of places have been reserved for them. You can imagine that for the top secondary schools, such as La Salle, Wah Yan Kowloon, and DBS, St Jo needs to compete with schools especially 聖方濟各英文小學 and 保良局陳守仁小學, which academic performance is known to be strong. So, good in sport, chess, drama, speech, music, or maths competitions will help them a lot.
However, if you aim at Sing Yin or KT Maryknoll, then you don't need to do too much (the most important is to focus on academic performance).

Yes, it is true. My friend also told me that a student was accepted by Sing Yin. But, I don't know whether the student was 即叩即收. Anyway, my friend told me that 12 students were accepted by Sing Yin. What a good result!

冇特別去問人考第幾，不過都應該唔差，其他人唔覺有咩一技之長。東東都冇，佢連琴都冇學。都係成績加操行。不過校長好好人，特別為我寫推廌信，可能都係因為咁有D幚助。其實，真係要多謝班主任和校長，冇佢地支持，提點我，都唔會順利考入。

九華同聖言一定肯B1中的. B1，均校風俾學生自由自主，所以小朋友要有較高自律性（ 係聖小俾miss. Yip 管左咁耐，千萬別太放鬆得太早）
聖小在觀塘是B1, 小兒與身旁同屆數位小學頭十去到中西區及油尖區比拼仍是稍有不足。 媽咪們，無論派到咩學校，前面先系艱苦的開始（小朋友又開始青春期反絆），努力呀，各位。

有關升中統計可看此帖。近三年派英中比率是 45% - 52%。

要注意不少 band 1 尾或 1/2 邊緣人會選擇中學部，故 band 1 同學比率應較派英中比率略高。
另因為大部份所謂 band 1 中學皆為英中，故坊間均以派英中比率視為派 band 1 學校比率。

我自已都好矛盾，又擔心阿仔性格内向，會受唔到老師嚴格嘅要求，又擔心唔肉緊D會唔夠外邊嘅學生咁有競爭力！
