請問英文閱讀是怎樣?校內是否鼓勵閱讀?英文用什麼readers?用不用寫週記?

在1st in 時校長说P1, P2 用 homeroom 教学模式、P3開始变回傳統、這是不是到時不是由外籍老師教大部份科目？P3 起英文科是由net 教嗎？另外此校的校外刊物說此校教授語言是英普(不計以前的中英文班)、她真的做到吗？上课是會不會又中又英教？請問有無p3家長們為我解答。Many Thanks

Just want to share with u my child experience in the past 3 years:

Chi - 1 yr taught by PTH native speaker, 2 yrs taught by HK techers (i think they all passed the govt's PTH exam)
Eng - Eng native speakers
Math - HK teachers (bilingual)
Thematic - HK teachers (bilingual)
IT - HK teachers (bilingual)
Visual Art - HK teachers (bilingual)
Music - HK teachers (bilingual)
Life Education - HK teacher (Cantonese)
PTH - 2 yrs taught by PTH native speaker, 1 yr taught by HK teacher

Hi MaMHH, Just want to more confirm, 双語是PTH/ENG or Cantonese/Eng? In fact, I am so wonder if this school is suitable for my child or not? My child is very good at English. And we have another offer(中小)but PHT and English is also good level. My child and me are both like this school very much. But this school is not near home (take 35 min), FSS is near home, but I don't like this school more focus on (分数、成績) . Does the students who is studyiing here feel so high pressure?

Bilingual means Eng + Cantonese. As told by my child, techers sometimes used Cantonese to explain the complicated content such as some long questions in Math, reproductive system/ brain system in Thematic (General Studies). The school has provided different opportunties (both academic and non-academic) to students. I think whether the pressure is high or not all depends on the students' learning style. If your child is a 'fast-doer', she wil have no problem.
