大家好，我囝囝剛考到插班K2, 9月份入學。請教現K1家長，可否分享下K1學校生活怎樣，英文是否已教phonics? 中文是否全普通話教學？教學程度怎樣？Lunch是否一定吃學校提供的，質素好嗎？
唔好意思，因轉校怕囝囝難適應，太多問題想知。

They have Jolly Phonics. Chinese teachs in Cantonese and 普通話 is a separate class. High Academic Level. The School hired food supplier to provide lunches. Lunches are included in the misleaous cost and they are okay.

Do you know how much for the school fee in the coming year yet?
My concern now is - can he adopted to the new environment as he likes his current classmate very much.

School fee is $4840, and misc fee is $41xx
My son loves the current kindergarten so much too...I have the same worry too.

I rec'd a letter that we have to pay the fees $4150 for the coming year, not sure if it is including the lunch fee?
Besides $4150, do we need to pay other fees coz it mentioned that it is not include the stationery & arts materials...... anyone knows about it!

In the letter, it said "The fee ..., including but not limited to stationery, art materials, birthday party materials, outings, and etc.". It means the fee covers stationery, art materials, birthday party materials, outings, and etc.

I feel that HK$1,000 difference for half day and whole day class won't be the lunch. In my opinion, the fee doesn't include lunch.

Just called the school. Confirmed Full-day school usage fee $4150 is included lunches.

For my elder daughter past experience, no more extra fee need to pay after you paid this usage fee.
Except school trip, you and your husband will join it then they will charge the adults only.

Chewy, i called the school this morning as well. They said the usage fee just a 書薄費, not inlcude stationery, art materials, birthday party materials, outings... however the monthly school fee will include the lunch but not sure will include the tea break or not???? so which answer is correct?

"including but not limited to" 表示「包括但不限於」的意思。
意思是包括以下内容，但是未列明部分并不排除包括範圍。

As far as I know SJC is not that tricky as other school, lots of hidden charges behide. They probably charge 1 fee for all which can elimilate lots of notice and adminstration works.

O-kddo - Full time School 9am - 3pm...

Hi all,

My son also got offer from SJC K2 in 2012 Sept. I am worry about that he is now studying in international school. If change to traditional school, I don't know whether he can accept this new environment. And he eats so slow too......

封信係校長親筆簽署，寫得很清晰沒有灰色地帶，聽電話回覆家長的職員可能未必完全了解收費的細節以至有不同版本，我都覺得唔駛咁執着，相信學校會按規定收費。

2011/12年度是9月1日，2012/13年度還未公布。

2011/2012 term was started on Aug 15 2011.
2012/2013 term will be started on Mid-August as well. Exact date will be annouced later.
