Do you mean sight-reading? I believe the piano teacher would train this area too for the exam.

Hi.I would like to share my experience of 2nd grade piano. I think it might not be to difficult as 2nd grade in only some foundation in piano. As I am not wrong, the test only stands for around 35-40 minutes. The first will be piano/ arpeggios(as you like, you can choose for that).Then it will be sight reading, the examier will give you a piece to play. But before you play, you can have a minute to study for it. After the sight reading, there will be aural.
I think the sight-reading is the most difficult part in the examination as you are not familiar with the piece. i think the you can request you piano teacher to practise more sight-reading before the piano examination.

小學生四年級應該考咩級鋼琴才合LEVEL呢?
人家說一年級考一級, 六年級差不多考六級, 對嗎?

無呢樣野...要睇下老師點教，學生點學...
老師教得好，學生有天份、肯練琴...就可以好快
學樂器最重要係打好基礎
學好拍子、音符、句子、大細聲、音色、姿勢等...
否則就算俾你考到8級...
都唔代表你有8級的水準!

依家唔少名校生K3升P1已經5級!協恩今年年初開直資家長會都話有7、8成協恩小六學生已經考左8級鋼琴，所以鋼琴唔計

我個仔暑假剛考二級, pieces 同 scales 係可以選擇先後, :到sight reading 時時考官會出一首歌仔叫佢即場彈, 要求拍子準確, 音準, 咁就夠pass, 我個仔都係岩岩pass 多小小... 佢一向唔數拍子的, 出來果張分紙都係話佢呢樣弱左d, 但都可以merit.. ok 啦, 放心, 考官好好人, 我個仔係scales 時唔記得左一條, 個考官有提佢, 佢就彈到啦, 當然會扣分啦.

至於如何定老師是否好老師, 呢個問題我都好想知, 因為我都從未轉過老師

8級鋼琴就較易考.奏級就難很多.考官睇得緊很多.
