I have been unhappy these few days because the comments on the report card are quite negative.Though the comment may be based on some aspects of the kid's performance, I just wonder will it be better to give some more postive or neutral comments as a kind of encouragement? How can I present the report card for interview in the future? The teacher told me something postive about the kid, but she didn't write it down on the report card. Are the comments on your kids' report cards positive and encouraging? The feedback from the teachers at other tutorial classes are always good. I am very worried about my kid now!

Is your kid K1 this year?

Don't worry. Usually the primary school ask for K2 2nd term report.

Yes. My kid is in K1. I feel the need to talk to the teacher. What should I bear in mind if I want the communication to be construstive? Is there anyone who can give advice and share ideas? Do you have similar experience and how do you tackle it?

It is only the first term of K1, usually second term will be better, to show improvement of your kid.
Are you studying in Essex Campus? So suppose, parent day, you already have a detailed discussion with your Class and English Teacher.
I suggest you talk with them slightly later, to see if there is any improvement of your kids these days. And ask for their advice how to make things better.
