小兒閱讀能力好, 能自然流暢地朗讀文章和拼讀生字, 但我主張以PHONICS方向循序學習串字, 沒有強迫他去串很多生字, 所以想知道小學面試會不會要求小朋友串很複雜的生字.
請賜教, 謝謝!

It isn't as common as you supposed. :) SMC should like the children who love reading.

Yes I have a glance at the P1 subject briefing introduction on web, the school really put much effort on promoting reading habit. But how can they assess a child's reading ability? Simply by reading vocab or sentences?

我都想知會唔會有獨立問題係問串字. 簡介會時個主任話會考認字, 我自己諗應該會係比字卡小朋友讀返個字出嚟啦. 當時都有家長問洗唔洗考串字, 個主任只係答識串埋當然最好啦. 但係如果係睇字卡讀字, 咁照字母讀一次出嚟其實冇意思架喎?!
咁上年到底係點架, 只係讀, 定係另外再有問串字呢? 同埋我都想問, 上年考認字部份, 可否舉個例有咩字呀, 會唔會有好多字母的字, eg. supermarket, restaurant 等?
其實我之前一直都冇刻意操個女英文, 而家只係佢學校過去派的識字卡要識到晒, 但係當中比較長比較少用的字都係唔記得. 雖然我都恨亞女考到, 但係我亦知唔係真係咁叻, 佢又唔係靠拼音, 好似係死記咁去認個字, 睇到識到, 但又唔一定識串, 所以而家都只係抱平常心咋, 真係考唔到都冇辦法, 而家所做的都只係盡人事咋.
