Yesterday I received a call from Miss Yau (Kwoon Chung) and informed me about the pick up and drop off time and site for Sept. However, we have not received the letter (I suppose we get one as we submitted the self-addressed envelop.)

well, having involved with Kwoon Chung and tried to arrange nanny buses two years ago, understand it is a complicated process to finalize a route. Because there are a lot of last minute variations.

We still haven't got it and I called Kwoon Chung today. They said sent out two days ago and so will wait 'til tomorrow to see if those are lost in mails :(

hi, iantsang .我打咗两三天電話給周小姐,都揾她唔倒,今天終于她打黎,但堅决唔會幫我加站,13線,我希望在"柏景灣迴旋處"出來向左行車二分鐘就到"油蔴地天主教小學（海泓道）"在此加個站上車,跟住行車方向都跟住舊路線一樣了,所以加呢個站係用三分鐘之內就可以行回舊路線啦,但無論我點講(我陀住個B,又要帶住個女,讓我在"奧海城2期百佳出口既避車處上車,那個位無瓦遮头,以后天氣凍,下雨天,真係好...)但我點求周小姐,佢都話唔得,還唔停咁話我,無謂咁多要求,學校都唔鍾意收九龍呢邊太多,太雜既學生

Sorry to hear about your situation. But I must say what the school bus company staff said about students from Kowloon side is just their own point of view. It is not appropriate for me to further comment on this.

Concerning the routes, I must admit I am partially responsible for the limitation. Frankly, there were so many concerns raised by different parties last year to eventually have this happen. During the process, there are many ground rules made for the routes to operate. Some of the concerns include limitation of stops allowed and the choice of stops.

There is a very long story behind......

Sometimes we will have to face such issues since some people are just not very good with what they say.

Don't worry too much now. For the NC students, they won't be using the school bus services for the first two weeks so things can change. My suggestion is don't try to deal with her directly. There are other options that you can consider.

It is not recommended to leave your personal email address here on a post. See if you can "edit" and remove it. If need help, I have the rights to help you remove it.

Try to use PM, look at the top right hand corner for "私人訊息" and press it, then you should be able to find the messages I left you. You will need to learn how to use it later. If you still have problem, let me know.

咁我仍然係非常客氣咁話, 不如你都了解下先, 或者你問清楚係咪唔得先, 期間我再次講多次原本校車條路係點行, 我個站只係停多一停。
呢位小姐十分鐘後再打一次俾我, 提出另一個站頭, 但其實冇分別, 只係原有站頭出少少 (並唔係我要求o既站), 好奇怪, 既然校車公司都肯加站 (即係都同意/唔介意停多一停)點解要加一個唔方便o既站呢?
咁我好客氣咁問, 其實我可唔可以知道你o地校車條路線, 睇下我可唔可以俾到好o的o既建議? 呢位小姐於是又收線, 話一陣打俾我。(過程中, 我通知我先生話校車公司咁講, 我先生於是自己打過去問, 但校車公司仍然係答冇問題, 可以加。)
又十分鐘後, 同我對話o個位小姐又打來, 佢仍然係話加個新站俾你(佢提出o個個),你講o既o個個就唔會加, 並且語氣唔太好, 仲講句:" 係我同事唔清楚......一定唔可以.....唔會照顧所有人.......如果你咁唔滿意, 可以唔考慮我o地公司校車,我可以全數退返錢俾你"........
我答: 我o地一直有同你公司溝通, 過程都冇問題, 但你今日講呢個消息俾我知, 我宜家又獲得唔到更多資訊, 唯有接受你o既安排, 麻煩你加你所講o既新站,唔該。(位小姐1秒內收我線)
我明白及接受校車公司唔可以照顧所有家長o既要求, 但我o地o係過程中有主動溝通, 客客氣氣互相尊重, 校車公司o的職員用o的唔好o既態度對家長, 我認為好唔恰當。

係時候要你出碼喇，呢間公司啲職員咁無禮貌，叫家長唔歡喜就唔好坐校車！咁可唔可以叫佢公司唔鏈意就唔好做聖心生意吖！凡事都可以商量，有道理家長一定接受。
另外學校收咩區嘅學生要得校車公司同意嗎？我地報名要填住址架，呢位小姐嘅意思係學校收錯學生定港島區無人讀聖心，所以學校唔想收都收九龍區嘅小朋友？難道佢係郭修女嘅代言人！

I am sorry but please remember this is baby-kingdom and my role is a moderator of the forum.  Parents are welcome to share their experience but please be reminded this is solely a platform for sharing.  I am also a regular parent as all of you so please do not mix this up as it is very important.

Based on what we heard, the attitude of the school bus company staff is not good so parents would feel uncomfortable.  I shared the same feelings but parents should also tried not to be too subjective.  School bus company staff had their busiest time in this few weeks of the whole year and they are responsible for many schools at the same time.  So, sometimes people may not behave well under pressure.

And obviously she has made improper comments which is not related to her role.  However, this staff is under the management of school bus company, the kindergarten only has an outsourcing agreement with the school bus company, but not to this particular staff.  If parents are unhappy with the school bus company, the best way is to reflect this to the management of the school bus company directly.

On the other hand, opinions about the school bus company will be collected once a year thru questionnaire so it gives everyone a formal channel to voice out their concerns and comments.  In the current organization, school bus company services are not monitored directly by the PTA (understand some parents may have such assumptions since it happen in other schools).

Hi Kobaby,

Thank you for your understanding and again sorry to hear about your bad experience.

Actually I have initiated to share with another member already but since the topic is being brought up again, I guess I would like to take this opportunity to share a bit more.

In the history of many Catholic schools, they have the concept of serving the nearby community from the early days.  Certainly, one of the main reasons in the past is because transportation is not so convenient as today.  So, it would make sense for them to have such expectation.

If someone ask me whether SHCK has such philosophy too?  I would say 'yes', since they are in no differences with other Catholic schools which share the same educational goal.  However, looking at so many families outside of HK island, and probably over half outside of C&W district, does this affect the children' opportunity to study here?  Then I think the fact tell the story.  And having know that, I guess parents would wonder how the Kowloon school buses can become realistic?  This tell you the extent of open mind this kindergarten has, and everyone should be thankful for having their children in good hands.

However, there are always misunderstanding when someone hear only part of the reasons and use their own subjective interpretation to tell others.  I guess this is how a rumor begin.  As a educated parent, it is our responsibility to be able to differentiate this, and not be affected by such wrongful messages.

On the other hand, having students all around the places creates another problem, transportation.  Parents have this assumption that school buses are responsible to give everyone the most convenient and safety.  However, by doing so it also created inconvenience to everyone.  So to balance this, the services have to be outsourced in order to allow resources to focus on education.  There are no perfect solutions so we just need to be more educated through sharing and be more understandable.  Complaints never improve any situations.  It is positive, thoughtful suggestions which can get the problems solved.

Hope this is a piece of information useful for those to understand just a bit better.  And this is to the extent I am appropriate to comment here.

I also have the same feelings.....I tel to them many times and each time they said the staff resposible for SH was busy and i left my mobile no. several times but no reply.....Finally found the staff today she said the nanny bus auntie will tel to me these 2 days.....Hope will receive her call soon la!

hi, this is my first message in "education" forum. i called the company serveral times - 100% the lady would call back when she was busy/not around; sometimes they direct transferred me to the responsible lady. every time the lady replied in a good manner wor. i think i m just too lucky

by the way, i did receive the call from the bus driver last night....i think they will call you soon.

I shared the same experience with woochai. The lady answered my call was polite and they tried to locate a pick up and drop off point close to where we live (we were not on the schoolbus list initially).
BTW, A9109494, I received a call from the schoobus "EE" tonight.

Hi All,

Don't know which bus line you are taking, but I received a call yesterday from a lady who is in charged of my girl's bus line and confirming our pickup / dropoff location and timing. The lady is nice and allow me to change to other location in the list provided as long as we feel comfortable with. She also asked me who will bring my girl to the bus stop so she can make a remark, and she told me there are 3 kids waiting in the same spot. Also she gave me her mobile no. so we can reach her anytime (like skip taking school bus due to absent etc)
