今日 interview 完, 見到好多人 in,但係點解無人講o既??
唔知今年係咪多人 in, interview 的形式好似好簡單,無以前咁要跟老師做動作, 問幾條問題就走得 !!
雖然囡囡答哂所有問題,但係好怕羞,細聲......
所以應該都唔得o架啦 !
有無其他家長分享o下 ?

Yes, the interview is very fast but the arrangement (waiting time) is very good as there is playground for the kids to warm up before interview.
Teacher asks my girl some questions and then gives her instructions to do something:
What's your name? Who goes to school with you? Where's daddy (as Mummy sits with her), gives her the photo of drinking bottle and asks her to take it from the cradle, asks her to feed bb with the bottle and asks her what's inside the bottle. Then teacher builds up 3 blocks in different color, and asks her to do the same in order, then the teacher says it's finished and asks her to put back the chair, then leave.

I just want to express my feeling here, if you don't like or don't agree with it, please don't read it, thank you...
Before the interview, the children were arranged to go inside a classroom to watch the music viedo, but the image and colour is not clear enough to attract the children. also, my daughter's interview time is 13:40pm, I observe that some of the children were sleepy, so as my daughter. However, the music was so dull that even I want to fell asleep. I don't know is the music the same for the whole day or we were so "lucky enough" to hear the song that was so dull and boring. I saw some children rub their eyes. Yes, the questions were not difficult at all. The arrnagement before the interview was not good enough. If the music and video can be more attractive or cheerful, I'm sure some of the children could perform better. As this time slot may be the sleeping time for some of the children. Hope the arrangement will be better next year...

We had identical questions as yours.
I am very impressed with the whole arrangement. It was smooth and orderly. The classroom was spacious. The teacher: candidate is 1:1 and my daughter could focus towards the teacher without distraction. They did not have a whole table filled of toys and my girl was very attentive to the teacher.
What's more important, the toy they gave out impressed my girl a lot and she liked the school very much.

我同你地IN都一樣, 無問家長任何嘢, 不過佢封信話要早到三十分, 我便到咗五十分, IN時間根本同封時間冇分別, 令到囡囡玩咗很耐, 玩到累, 玩到一半我哋即叫囡囡唔好玩, 食包包飲水拖時間比佢休息

My questions are 90% the same and I think the blocks one is pretty difficult for the 2 yr old kid. Teacher built with 3 color blocks but my daughter has 5 different colors. She needed to take the same 3 colors out and built in the same order!

Overall arrangement is smooth and my gal did ok. She's also very happy with the toy!

原來所有問題都差不多一樣
其實間學校真係好好,安排地方比小朋友玩,等佢地可以Warm up o下 !
我仲以為我個囡 in 得唔係咁好,所以老師問少d問題添

我地等候o既時候, 睇 video d 歌又唔係好悶, 教小朋友唱 hello, good morning etc

my girl get a lot of questions indeed compared with others!

what is your name, how old are you, who come with you, where is your daddy, give her picture of milk bottle and socks and ask her to pic these items from the basket, name of these items, are you wearing any socks? can you help the baby wear socks? (I think this is hard, my gal can wear socks herself, but not to others, so finally teacher as her to put socks on top of baby's feet); show her toys of bread and banana and ask her the name, the baby is hungry, try feeding the baby, teacher is thirsty, find the item from the basket for holding water and ask the item's name (cup), find from the basket the item for wiping the baby's mouth after eating, help the baby wipe the mouth and the name of the item; find the same block as on the teacher's hand and build up the same pattern as the teacher (step by step)

我哋同你一樣，早咗45分鐘就到…玩咗一陣，驚囝囝攰所以叫咗佢坐低畫公仔…但可能始終等得太耐，到囝囝入去時佢開始有啲唔耐煩…雖然interview時佢正常返，但最後當老師讚佢叻，做得好，要送架車車俾佢時，佢雙眼發哂光咁不斷話要去攞車…雖然佢最後都有跟老師指令拍返好佢同我張櫈，但我諗後來嘅印象分應該都唔太好…所以應該都唔得多…

聽校長講今年太多人IN既關係, 所以原本4點完都要去到六點至IN晒, 所以趕D時間都唔奇既.....
另外播音樂果度, 我覺得幾好吖, 可能因為D歌唔COMMON至有人唔鍾意姐, 不過我見有小朋友好開心拍住手一齊唱都好開心吖, 講真呢D野唔係必然既, 佢播歌都好過唔播啦..

尋日我個女都見完，唔駛等好耐，時間安排上其實好過蘇浙，不過成千幾人見，每個BB分十分鐘，咁揀法我覺得好有問題!!

老實講, 間學校好唔好我唔敢comment, 但係安排真係算唔錯, in 的時間唔算短啦, 我去 in 某九龍塘的學校個老師講嘢英到無輪, 勁趕收工, 當時天都已黒, 相信老師都好累, 但係2歲人仔聽唔聽到外籍老師講得咁快呢?? 我諗唔夠3min就in完啦!

返而真光ok喎, 大把學校video都無呀!

有家長話老師問佢，你住九龍點返學呀，無校車喎，同埋在岩岩開始報名時，我亦收到校務通知話收到我張application form，但係話明校車架．．．．你會讀嗎　？　唔知大家有無咁既經驗呢　？聽講堅道真光今年唔多收九龍住既小朋友　？　唔知係咪呢　?!

但係都好多九龍的家長有報,可能都係大包圍,擔心無學校收,如果最後揀大坑真光的都可能會搬,因為由幼稚園到中學成十幾年都要過海返學!

有呀！我都有收到電話，老師話冇過海校車，問我有冇問題。我答冇問題，之後先收到interview時間。

During the interview date, I read the notice board and it has listed the school bus route, it has Kowloon route for Lam Tin & Yau Tong area, but for pm session only.

我都住九龍, 學校無問校車既問題, 係呀, 面試問題幾乎一樣, 個個小朋友都答到, 用咩準則收生呢, 咁我地呢d九龍人一定唔考慮收!

Does anyone know if True Light primary school and secondary school use English or Chinese in teaching?

Classes are delivered in cantonese, but they also have weekly English and PTH classes taught by native speakers. Have heard that next year Primary will be taught in PTH. This year for K1, a number of students are from KL/TKO. Also, this year the school bus company did offer a cross harbour route but there just were not enough students. You can arrange for nanny bus or go by MTR to HK side (eg. North Point) for the school bus. Hope that helps.

其實上午班都有小朋友住九龍,但由於人數不夠所以冠忠沒有開上午班往九龍的路線。
