The chance is only higher if the kid can perform well in the interview. That's my gut feeling. My kid only did OK, not extremely outstanding I would say. So I think we don't stand any chance.
Btw, I note from the discussions here many kids who are on waiting list have got the offer but they didn't need to go through 2nd interviews. So 2nd interviews don't mean anything.

Do you know why some children do not have to attend second interview but some have? What's the point of doing that?

Yesyes, 快D 親手比多封信去學校試下, 佢都已經陸續CALL了一個星期, 應該係陸續有來. 試下打比班主任問下都好, 我收到CALL前一日都同仔仔班主任傾下, 雖然唔知有冇直接幫助, 不過問下情況都好.

Thank you very much for your kind support!! I just prepared the letter last night and plan to take it to school by hand and hope able to pass it to Mrs. Chan directly... However, I just called the school and ask, but they said they finished the call the waiting lou... The bad side is we chose EP and I guess the available places may be lesser... if we want to wait in EC, need to wait in the last position...

My daughter did not speak to the teacher also in the second interview, just did some tasks. My daughter is a small bb, is it that small bb has no chance?

I'm really sad and disappointed about my daughter's performance.

We have written four letters already and we handed in the last letter by person, still they called us back that our daughter was rejected. So, should I still keep on trying? My daughter is a DEC girl.

Hi AdrienneBB, please do not feel sad and disappointed on them, I think both your girl and you had done very good already, afterall, she is a girl aged only 2.5+ years old, it's really too painful to let them under that kind of interview pressure... just relax, and I think more chances will come in August.

My son is a small b (Nov07). He only missed one question in the 2nd interview and was able to answer the rest of the questions.
The teacher who interviewed him was kind of cool and to my surprise, didn’t ask me any questions.
So originally I thought she was not happy with my son’s performance.
Has your kid known how to speak sentences yet? I think that’s quite important as it seems to me that they expect the kids can speak sentences instead of single words by this stage.
Also I think the questions they asked this time were much more difficult than those asked in the first round.

My daughter can speak whole sentences but she does not like to answer strangers' questions. Therefore, she cannot show to the teacher that she has the ability to speak well.
