Hi

If a child is around 4 years old, will he easily mix up in learning the English phonics ( teacher by school) and 普通話拼音(private tutor)? Please share your view.

我都好想知, 我小朋友未夠3歲, 宜家keep住有睇英文拼音, 但從未接觸普通話..........

不要盲目追求一定要學英語或普通話拼音，可以用一些輕鬆的方法例如，兒歌，故事或遊戲等讓小孩習慣該語言便可。
當然現在的趨勢學個個小孩都學，自己的不學又好似唔多ok。
可以考慮先學phonics同時學普通話但選擇一些以故事，兒歌形式的活動。當孩子再大一點，才教普通話拼音都是可行的。

Agree...You can try the mandarin playgroup first, let your baby familiar with mandarin rather than mandarin phonics
