收到waiting list 信已經兩天, 係時間把唔知點形容的心情放低, 不如收到waiting 信的人在此集合,據說很多人都會選GH 而放棄SC學位, 所以大家仍有希望呵！

都係架, 不過哥哥最理想既學校大部分都係男校.雖然我畢業果間小學有而家一條龍上英中, 但係經過今次之後, 就發現唔可以掉以輕心, 因為實在太多小朋友2007年出世. 我1個女到時得20分唔知係唔係都好細機會......
我未寫比校長, 個心仲好亂, 又怕勉強入到跟唔上.....

My son is also in the waiting list. 收到信後都失望咗幾分鐘, 因為以為家姐今年才在 St Cat 畢業, 會大啲機會, 但原來 St Cat 真的很公平, 完全睇面試表現.
不過我好快就冇唔開心, 因為還有很多好的幼稚園, 我個心反而好平靜, 可能my son 和 St Cat 無緣, 又或者他在其他幼稚園會更開心, so he will be studying in another 我一直都好心儀嘅幼稚園. I also feel thankful that I will have a chance to experience a different kindergarten.
To all parents, don't feel too upset about the result, you never know which school is the best for your child and there is not only one good kindergarten!!!!

For government-aided schools, siblings will get a guarantee seat for primary 1 (i.e. no need to count the number of points you've got).

If you remember me, I have one girl and one boy, same as you, and both of our girls are now at MCS P1.
My little son is lucky enough to get a K1 seat from St Cat next year. I did not apply for any other Kindergartens for him as I like SC so much (not because I am very confident with my son). If SC did not offer him a seat, I will let him stay at the kindergarten where he is having PN.
Which kindergarten your little boy is going?

唉呀, 快d寫信, 親身帶反學校, 交比你識的老師.....入左先擔心啦, 而且要相信你自己個女 & 學校的老師, 我呀仔in st.cat的時候, 我覺得個老師問問題時都講解得好清楚,同york & kv比較 (因為我只報了此3間), 佢地教小朋友一定係有辦法ge(睇下你自己個仔就知啦), & 係呀女仲有呀哥, 同你自己係old girl (如果你報自己間小學), 我得一個仔, 自己讀村校(而家可能已經殺左啦), 物分都無, 靠呀仔自己食自己啦... haha

Of course I remember you from the MCS forum. Congratulations for your son, you must be very happy.
My son should be going to Creative Primary School Kindergarten, I like the environment there and I believe my son will be very happy there. He has complete different character than his sister and cannot sit still, so I am happy to try out another School.

我知如果阿哥讀緊既小學, 阿妹一定入到, 但我畢業的那間是女校呀, 所以阿仔唔會入, 而個女又唔係第一個出世,所以只有old girl 的 10分, 加埋適齡共10分, 都唔係一定入架...

或者我可以分享下舊年的experience... 我仔仔e家讀緊K1(但不是SC), 舊年收到SC 的waiting list, 心情都好down, 前一年的媽咪說SC大概是在開學前先有後補通知... 我都以為一定有希望, 前後sent左3封求位信... 在forum好多媽咪都話放棄左SC, 理應最後一定有位多出來call waiting.
點知等下等下... 據我所知到今年開學SC 都沒有call一個waiting (唔知有冇其他媽咪知道實情???)...
好彩之前有一間更心儀的學校收左仔仔, 如果唔係一心諗住等SC waiting而錯失其他機會就唔值... 所以除了寄望有call waiting之外, 大家都要盡力再試其他心儀的學校. 各位媽咪不要放棄, 可能今年又不一樣呢!

I heard the teacher said they received over 7,000 applications this year in 2 days after they posted the application information on their website and that's why they had to stop the applications on the Monday following their application announcement on Friday....

如一萬人 apply 669 個位, 即 around 14 人裏才收1 個

No wor! 3 years ago, my friend was on waiting list and she received a phone call from St Cat around September for an offer. Eventaully, she chose St. Rose for her kid. Just for info.

I got a waiting list letter from SC last year and didn't received any call, even though I wrote a letter to them and they replied us a letter to inform us they've already got a letter and implied us no need to send them any more letter. They will inform us if there are any vacancies. I haven't heared from parents in bk can get a call from SC.
However, there were quite a no of waiting list can get a offer from kv. I was also on waiting list from kv and got an offer in Dec, just few days after registration date. I also heard that some children got an offer in May before paying for uniform.
Anyway, I'm satisfied with kv and my kid can learn a lot from school and she is happy everyday.

不如你試下send 信, 睇下會唔會有幫助.
有時真係好難講, 我當日都好嬲好失望，覺得唔收未算law,後來想一想, 係唔係值得send 封信去試下呢，既然覺得間學校好就盡下力啦！

I got a sc waiting but have a pm offer on both SN and Creative Primary School(CPS), I still consider which one should be more suitable to my son.
After interview of CPS, I like their environment and feel good on their teaching approach. And SN, the small class format is very attactive and their student show high ENG and PTH ability. My son is most out-going, I believe both kindergarten treating students with love and patience. So, still in considering.

我B 12/07 INTERVIEW 咗大約8間幼稚園, 只係得3間收, 連SN都唔收, 但佢荅到所有問題, SC 又WAITING LIST, 祟真又FAIL, 唔通細B真係咁唔得人鍾意? 我只在STAFFORD 留了位, 又一村和約克我都無交$$, 現等KV , KM, MAN SUNG 回覆, 會再見其他學校......BB, 你真係慘喇....

你有冇發覺有d人係唔接受名牌既好處,往往覺得名牌同其它牌子一樣?與此同時亦有太多人只係盲目追捀,根本吾知有咩好處....但我覺得只要你買得起,用得起,就得la,理得人點揀啫
我姪仔好想入sc(佢爸爸媽媽都系sc畢業),佢mami己寫幾百字求位信,唔知有咩可以做,試過打去塭校長,d miss一定官方式拒絕,又唔知去學校揾校長會唔會阻住佢or吾系度,真係慘......

our child may be classmates later.
don't know how to choose. we like small class in SN as my gal is small bb (DEC 07) and like the environment in CPS.

I didn't apply for SN so I don't know how to compare the two. I'm sure you won't be wrong picking anyone of the two. Maybe you can bring your kid to visit both schools again and you may have a new thought. Good luck.

收到waiting list 之後, 到而家心情都未能平伏,佢當時interview响8:45AM,亞仔雖然未訓醒咁烏下烏下咁,但都肯做哂所有野,點不知都係唔收....唉.....真係很傷心呀!!

don't give too much pressure to yourselve and your kid la, 收到waiting list does not mean the end of the world. There were over 7000 applicants for only 600-700 seats, even if the kid answered all the questions would not gurantee an offer. And more importantly, it doesn't mean your kid was not smart at all, sometimes it's pure luck.
There is not only one good kindergarten in hong kong, getting admitted into SC also doesn't guarantee the kid will have a very good future, don't let the result make you so unhappy. If you continue to support your kid along no matter which school he or she is going to, he or she is going to make very good progress in the future.

i agree with you , it's not so a big deal, there is not only one good school in this world,
or even can enter to SC, not necessary mean anything, as they have so many students,
each famous primary school has some students from so many good kindergarten, not from only one or two !
can you kids enter to good primary, not totally depend on the kindergarten.

We are on the waiting list of pm session as well, I do not expect we'll got an offer from SC finally.
Just waiting for the interview of SPK, if still not scuess then we'll study in SN. Actually, I think SN is a good KG too, and I believe my daughter will enjoy the school life there.

呢個大聯盟topic開得好，可以俾大家(腎)一(腎)，收到waiting list都算係意料之內，雖然真係唔知waiting list係咪即係=唔收你，但自己諗就算waiting都唔知輪唔輪到你，interview之後，自己內心調節到無期望就無失望﹗

我老公說我沒有祈禱所以落空, 嬲到我死, 不過想深一層, 係有少少大安旨意, 忘了很多重要的細節,檢討過後現在更著緊個女(因為之前只夠時間同個仔做功課....),亦更明白自己的心意, 其實我係好感恩架, 不過好忙有時會唔記得....

這是所謂的策略性的收生標準?名牌效應?名牌家庭?名牌學生?

無意中睇到呢個topic，我都好明白大家嘅心情；當年囝囝考soka，面試表現超水準(係爸爸媽媽心目中)，可惜最後收到rejected letter，連waiting list嘅機會都冇，可想而知失望程度去到極點。我有親筆寫求位信，仲親自交回學校；但當我交信前坐係學校對面嘅公園，我覺得呢間學校唔收我個囝，可能係上天嘅安排，阿囝當日表現好好，我係應該開心而唔係傷心，忽然心情豁然開朗。
囝囝今年K2，當年SC收佢讀am class，但最終我都放棄咗，佢只o係屋企附近讀幼稚園。所以大家唔好太介懷，我相信每間幼稚園都有好處，只要小朋友讀得開心，他們一定可以學到好多嘢。

依家好相信SC是一間超現實+唔公平的學校﹐可能佢哋已經出左名﹐有名氣﹐唔怕無學生。收家底厚﹐父母是Professional的小朋友, 目的是要繼續保住個聲名, 唔想做衰個名﹗

我覺得SC絕對係好公平! 因為我同老公都係professional, 而大囡又o係SC畢業, E+ o係港島區某名校讀緊小二, 所以妹妹將來必然入讀該小學! 如果SC係咁現實, 理應收我細囡, 但最終佢都只係waiting! 坦白講我細囡真係in得唔好, 唔收都係理所當然!

Oh ic ic, Thank you!!! Same as your friend, I guess waiting list = reject. As too many kids on waiting list, so we are aslo want to fight for a seat if there is any vacancy.

我諗KV 出咗結果後,應該 SC 會有好多位滕出嚟, 到時 WAITING LIST 都有希望呀. 不過我諗有 D 都會先比咗留位費先, 因可以有一年時間慢慢諗. 所以我覺得出年入學前會再通知一 d waiting list 的. 所以大家係 waiting list 都唔好太擔心, 因希望在明天嘛.

我囡囡都係得PM waiting...上黎睇...原來都好多小朋友係waiting...唔知係咪唔收...之前無咁想入黎間...而家就好鬼想囉...
不過我覺得寄咗信都未必有希望....st. cat自己一定將啲waiting排咗位...有無家底一定有關係...當然仲要睇小朋友interview既表現啦...我都預一路都無call....因為阿囡group interview IN得唔好...雖然佢individual interview表現好好...
