Any chance to enter if gets 20 marks?
Is this school jsut half day? is it study am or pm in alternate yr? will it change to whole day school later?

20 pt should be no problem, there are 15 pts student get into this school
becoz most of the ppl will use 20 pt to choose Marymount (but only few 20 pts can get in)
it is half day school.....1,3,5 is afternoon, 2,4,6 is morning class

if compare to st paul convent, sacred heart, which one is the best?

st paul convent IS better, and bigger class around 40 students 1 class
and the test is more difficult than the sppc.....and they learn less, but the test / exam are more difficult than they learn......so most parent will bring their child to the tutor school (all famous school just like this, so that is the parents' money built up the reputation of the school!!)

我都有20分，我是住九龍，但不肯定今年是否有機會派到，11月23日很快到，心情有點緊張！！！！！！

How about 聖保祿天主教小學 vs St Stephen's College prepartory school? And how would you parents pick between the two?

就算首輪同大抽獎結果唔理想，之後都仲可以去叩門，八、九月D音樂椅都仲跳緊。

To me, these are two entirely different schools:
SPPC vs SSCPS
Catholic vs Christian
Subsidized vs private/DSS
Wanchai vs Southern district
Girls' school vs co-ed
(all same for their respective secondary school)
Both are good schools. So I would opt to save some HKD312k (6 years basic charges for primary).
The above are purely my own views.

I am actually pretty opt for St. stephen (stanley), however I don't have their offer yet. I have 20pts, so I guess my daughter should have a seat with SPPC. Although a couple of my friends whose daughters are currently studying at SPPC, they all said SPPC is a very good school, and they wonder why I am so keen on SSCPS given that their academic results are on par, and virtually I pay very minimal for such a good school. My view is SSCPS has less pressure (SPPC seems to be more pushing at P5/6 academically), they have more activities-based teaching, their language exposure is much better, they encourage students to have more musical exposure.
Of course the bottom line is if I don't have SSCPS offer, SPPC is still considered a good choice.

Why not! Have you you researched the past thread? there were some 15pts students got a place in round 1. st. paul's isn't the hottest one in town.

其實都有留意到每年笫一輪都有15分話入到，但一日未開故，都是有些擔心
