Even though the applicant has obtained the certificate of Baptism and the Roman Catholic status has granted her the additional “5” marks, it doesn’t guarantee her a through-train in the first round.
The fact is that there are many cases like St Mary’s old-girls, sisters and needless to say the plenty of Catholic children.
But of course, 5 more marks are better than none.

p.s. The school name is St Mary’s Canossian School and it is called as “St. Mary’s” in short.
Not St. Mary.
