I have asked the teacher about orientation program on the date of registration. She said it will be around the end of August.

Can any parents share how to equip your child from now to September as th English standard of DBSPD is quite high.

Dear all DBSPD parents,

My son is now studying in K2 and needs to apply primary school after summer holiday this year.  Undoubtedly, we wish my son could be enrolled into DBSPD, so would anyone of you be kind to share some interview experiences as well as the entry requirement(s) with me.

For your info also that my son is now studying in English/Putonghua K2 class.  He can communicate with English and/or Putonghau with people, but of course, not so as fluent as native English/Putonghua speaker.  He is now also learning drawing, swimming, piano-playing, choir (HK Childern Choir) and Taekwadoe every week.  His schedule is fully occupied, except Sunday.  Luckily that he rather enjoys those activities we arranged for him.

So pls advice if any other extra-cirruculum activities he needs to take as preparation for entering DBSPD?

Your prompt advise would certainly be highly appreciated.

Oh....what a pity!!  I missed it!!!!

Would any one of you be kind to share your experience and preparation for entering DBSPD?

Actually, I have two options 1) DBSPD and 2) Po Leung Kuk CKY.  

I know these two schools adopting two different system and style to teach students, but these two are my perference.   So, I would be much grateful if any one of you could share your views in respect of these two schools with me.

We took longer than expected doing spring cleaning on Sun, so end up not going. We were a bit disappointed.  What happened there?

hi,  open house 我都有去呀, 我個仔好鍾意間學校, 因為有個大球場 佢好開心, 好期待返拔萃

我參觀p1 課室時都有問到班主任, 有關我仔仔英文程度驚追唔上, 上堂唔明先生講乜, 但個班主任好nice, 佢叫我唔駛擔心, 佢話好多小朋友初期都會有咁o既情況, 所以佢地p1會搭廣東話, 因為佢地o既學習環境係英文,所以佢話D小朋友好快就會pick up 到, 聽完全冇問題.

We too, there seems a big jump from K3 to P1 esp. the school use English as a medium of communication. The gap of standard  between P1 and P2 was bigger than expected. It seems that students will be up lifted a lot during P1. We feel pressure too after seeing the homework and project of student.

We also find students are very out spoken especially the P6 students who were skillful in handling enquiry.

The performance was amazingly professional! Those home made Cakes and cookies were delicious too!

我都有做Library家長義工, 個人覺得以小學圖書館而言,  藏書都幾豐富.  啲書除咗新淨之外, 新出版的書, 遲兩三個月, 學校已經有, 有媽咪話慳番唔少買書錢.

有Reading Scheme, 但不會強迫在限定時間內的睇書數目.

在canteen側,雖然只係小小一幅牆,但學校都用嚟整到變攀石場,真係好有心思.

原來d書好新,咁就好啦,可能因為剛參觀過一間IS,見到library有好多書,d小朋友又好喜歡閱讀,好似每星期要閱讀
數本書,所以好吸引. 我有d担心男仔大大下會無咁鍾意reading.

原來你都係家長 義工,果日見到的老師和家長都好nice,学生又好開朗熱心.好開心! 不如分享下要 不要幫小朋友做project?
