如果唔係讀ESF Kinder... 仲可以考入ESF Primary 嗎？

To my knowledge, esf kindy has priority for esf primary interview but doesn't make other kindy applicants has no chance at all.  Esf primary also take kids from other kindy, I know a few kids got accepted last year to esf (all different ones because of their address) but they are not from esf kindy.

It mostly happened in Hk island schools and RC/DC, definitely not for SJS and KJS unless they have sibling priority or nomination.

My kid came from a non-ESF kindy but still got the chance of interview, he passed the interview but was put on the waiting list at that time. In the past, the school is quite accurate in estimating the number of kids in the waiting list for intake and those on the list will be admitted sooner or later in that particular year. Unfortunately, he was not admitted that year but we keep rolling over and finally got the place  two years later joining the year 3. That means non-ESF kindy shall still have the channce . Btw, He is not island side .

There are always chance if you wait, many kids just come and go. Like my friends' kids just got offer from GSIS and have just released ESF spots for grade 5 and grade 4.

True, as long as you have the opportunity of an interview and met their standard, it justa  matter of time getting spots.

I think the chance they are inferring is the chance of getting in on year1.

Yes. I know. What I try to say is that non-ESF kindy still have the chance and in the past, those being put on the waiting list in fact have very good chance of getting the seat in year one . But this did not happen in that year when we applied .

Yes, I m talking about year one admission. If not year one, of course you can wait, wait and wait until one day they call you.

入英基最難是要被抽到去面試的機會，除非買nomination rights 至於面試方面，佢地的標準其實相當合理的，英文程度要不錯但並非要求達至native level. 起碼佢地唔似其他本地直資私校，又考academic 又要其他技能，英基主要注重小朋友和其他小朋友的相處，始終interview時他們只是K2
