I am also a Doman parent and I thank him for his works and studies on the subject.  On this note, I would point out that there are those in the market who are selling PIRATED versions of Doman materials and some places are using his name for promotion without proper authorisation.

To thank an academic for his/her work is to make sure that he and his family could make a living out of the work that he has done for you.  This goes with musicians, film makers, book writers...etc.  Many of these people are not rich as we perceive them to be.  If they do get rich from what they craeted or invented, it is fortune that they deserve.

My family has met the Doman family and they are good and modest people who dedicated their life helping brain-injured children to acquire a normal life.

If you appreciate the contribution of the Doman family, stop buying pirated and unauthorised versions of Doman materials (some from Taiwan, PRC and HK).
