Received notice from school about the chinese class, do you know what's the diff between regular class and alternative class? My girl has been nominated to regular class.

that means your girl meet the standard to study regular chinese.
My child is nominated to alternative chinese, but I want her to study in regular chinese.
May I know your girl is good at both language? and she studied PTH at kindergarten?

Yes, she is good in PTH too as she study from PN to K3, 4 years already.

咁你囡囡普通話應掌握得不錯，我家的小魔怪是廣教中上來的，我打算向miss Li 了解下課程先！始終我們是中國人，我不想她中文太差啊！
知否去那裏有普教中補習下？

邊處有普教中文真係吾知，一些出名的都是操卷，其實我都吾識普通話，好多時都比我囡話我錯，佢幼稚園教得很好，好著重音準。我囡4年幼稚園生活都是用英普的，學費是很貴，但睇到老師好用心教。

My gal has been allocated to regular class as well.  Virgokaren, 無需太擔心, 很多家長覺得"普教中"會令學生的中文程度有所提升或普通話程度能提高, 某程度是一種誤解, 多看中文故事書會有幫助.  But if you really want to do something more with your kid's PTH, you may consider KUMON.

Kumon 有中文嗎？

數月前開始了 kumon, 因她不懂拼音。
我擔心現在上 alternative class 將來追不上程度。我會向老師先了解下两種 class 的分别。

你上了幾個月kumon,  覺得如何？是否只上中文？我都想幫呀囡報中文及數學。

公文有中英數的，但都係做練習，是操練式的。我目的是讓她做下練習，認字，認拼音。

我主要都是想她多做練習，她未學會自動自覺，以前幼稚園每天有功課，現在沒有功課，有點擔心她會越來越懶散，想找個地方有人看管她做下練習
