Called the school and the person who picks up the call said all eligible applicants should have received the letters. I have been checking my mail everyday, but didn't find any

Just asked the admission office (Abacus campus but most likely it is the same for other ones as well).

They sent out the first batch of invitations already. They have a 'random number' attached to each application. If the number is big, it means it is on the waiting list (i.e. only will be invited if someone declines to join the school after the interview).

Will be good if they could let us know the random number so that we can at least know where we are in the queue.

The first round of play visit is granted to the kids with priority. My kid attended the play visit last Friday and got their notice of acceptance this Monday. So I think they'll allocate the seats to those who are in the waiting list and passed the play visit after the applicants in the first round declined their offer of acceptance in Jan.
