Thanks for the tips - we left home earlier and managed to get there just in time.

The traffic jam is really bad indeed. Luckily the school bears with us. In fact, the assessment time is much much shorter than the travelling time. My child said he just listened to a story and answered some questions about the story. Any other input?

I heard there are some parents who are unsatisfied with the interview process. Honestly, i think they didn't appreciate how hard the school arrange the late applicants to fit into the schedule.

My girl said she was asked to do some matching and puzzle exercises, then some questions about the family.

We were among the luckiest, we drove from home for only 20 minutes, include about 8 minutes waiting time along the Stubbs Road, when we managed to drive on Shiu Fai Terrace, virtually no further traffic jam.  End up, we were 10 minutes early.  After we just dropped off our child, the traffic started to become very congested, which after then the police car had to come and direct the traffic and pushed out all those who just street parked.

Can't too remember last year whether it started to have heavy traffic jam or not at Stubbs Road at 9am.

Last year, True Light (interview overrun, kid still kept at TL and could not leave), then late to RC and St Stephens at Stanley for interviews.

Actually, almost many areas on HK Island (from True Light to Stubbs Road also heavy traffic jam).  This year, you can imagine if many drivers drive cars to RHS and RC interview, Stubbs Road must be very congested.

If possible and convenient to some parents, you may consider to walk to RC for interview (a road opposite the Tang Siu Kin Hospital) instead of driving cars to go there as this helps control the time better (the walking time is ok and not too long, of course, the only concern is the kid to walk too).

12 Oct is a busy day for many schools interview, good luck to all parents and kids.
