Oh, really.  I wish all the KG teachers will do the same so as to let us know the live of our children in school.  So far, not hear from my girl's class that any photos have been posted in any website.  A bit dispointed......

Actually, my girl's PN teachers also posted many class photos onto Facebook last year. Almost every 2 weeks, thus, a really good update. I appreciate that very much.

I think they will put the photos on the facebook sooner or later as I asked my daughter's teacher and she said she's going to do so.   However, she's going to use a new account, so I have to wait a bit longer now.

Oh, really, glad to hear this.  

Have you downloaded all your girl's PN photos from FB?  I have just download all N1A photos, if you haven't done so, I can copy them to a disk for you so as to save your time.

Firstly, you must ensure your kid's class has opened a Facebook account.  Secondly, you also need to open an account for yourself.

Ask the teacher to invite you as a friend by sending you a link or your invite the teacher as your friend.  Once you 2 become a friend, you can view the pictures.

How do you know if they have put this onto the facebook ?  Did you ask or the teacher teach you?

GIPW, you have to ask the teacher or the teacher tells you the account name so that you can search from FB OR the teacher sends you a link.  Last year, the PN teacher sent an invitation link to my private e-mail account as it was written on the handbook.

If you don't have a FB account, go and open one la.  It is a good way to find your long lost friends and keep updated of your friends' news.....but don't addict to it as it is pretty time consuming.

The performance will be done K1A & K1B this Friday. But anybody know when will the performance by another K1 kids?

Thu: 乾果和水

I don't have the school handbook on hand, but I remember I have seen such information on the school calendar attached to the handbook. I remember such performance almost every month, the one in Sept has been cancelled due to swine flu.  If takes turn in sequential order, next performance will be by K1C and K1D.

各位媽咪好!!  我有兩個小朋友, 大仔讀K3, 細女讀K1. 大仔2007-08年度讀k1時, 英文科有textbook & phonics兩本書, 而今年細女讀k1只得phonic一本書. 每星期我會按handbook所教的音, 而給囡囡做phonic worksheet, 實都係填顏色.  

我有教囡囡基本26個英文, 她雖然不是全部識晒, 都識8-9成. 講真我根本不知囡囡在學校英文科除了教phonic外, 仲有冇教其它??  

我想問吓英文本phonics 係咪每天都帶回學校??

你地小朋友本身認晒英文A-Z 26個字母未??

我見學校英文科又無課本, 只有本phonics ?? 其實小朋友究竟在學校英文科學左咩?? 做家長好似唔係好知??

Good question,  I don't know neither : ) and I want to know too.....but let me answer you 2 questions:

我想問吓英文本phonics 係咪每天都帶回學校?? No, no need to bring back to school at all.

你地小朋友本身認晒英文A-Z 26個字母未?? Yes, she knew it (actually knew it before she entered PN). And that's it....and up till now, my girl still cannot recognise "English words" (I have not taught her), other than MacDonald and Toys'Rus.......so, still cannot read simple books by herself like some smart K1 students.
