Hi All

Just rec'd a letter in my mail box, so lucky, my daughter was accepted for chior course, she's 1st interview on this time. I'm very happy

I want to know if any accepted kids mama can tell me, your child have a chop in their hand after interview? I'm not sure if it's represent to 'pass' or not?

can anyone in ho man tin center?

I wouldn't say it's "tips" but just some sharing...

My daughter is in general cheerful and out-spoken. We let her choose the song for interview. She picked a Putonghua song 潑水歌 which is light and happy. According to what she said, each child was asked to sing a few lines of lyrics only. So I think it is really not necessary to pick a "complicated" or "difficult" song. Try some songs which are light-hearted and sweet in melody. The most important of all is that we told her before and at the interview that it is just a game and she should not feel nervous or stressful. We as parents should of course say and behave consistently.

Hope this little sharing helps.

Not necessarily, I think. My daughter showed me her stamp mark on her hand right after the interview. I asked whether each and every child got one. She said, "If that kid wants one, then the teacher will stamp one on their hand." That's what my daughter said. I must say she is very good and "faithful" in recalling what others said.

OIS. Can you tell me what song on the song book? I have reviewed the letter, some infos need to fill in, it's quite trouble.... how old your girl? she's 1st interview?

Please advise if your son is also went to ho man tin center for interview? on that day, your son is wear white t-shirt. 我好像見過佢.他是否in 4:10pm on sunday?

Totally agreed with you. my daughter was choose a song 'London bridge falling down' for interview and she said teacher requested to the child 'pretend cat sound'.

The song in the song book:nursery rhymes, chinese song and some festival song. some of them i learn it in my primary,i.e.沙里洪巴

my girl is four and its the second time try. She sing 'Perhaps Love' this time. She fail both last time (She choose twinkle twinkle little star law..hhhee)and i hope to try it one more time...surprise!! She pass both pth and choir this time.

I dont know how many candidates this yr. I heard that around 30 students in one class(not sure). i find on hkchoir site that our team has 9 classes(new preparation class). 2 at 海泓道,1 at TKO, 1 at Tai koo shing,2 at king's road,2 at ho man tin and 1 at north point(顯理)

My girl got a pass in both Choir & Chi. Dance at her first interview.

She also got a stamp on her hand, but she told me all children got it after they sang in her group. (Ho Man Tin Centre)

父母係唔可以陪同入去的. 我個女都好怕醜的, 但係都可以onetake pass到, 奇蹟. 佢第一次係人面前唱歌咋. 佢入到去連原來自己架歌都唔記得左點唱, 所以都係唱twinkle twinkle little star 咋, 佢出黎時隻手有印仔, 佢都係話, 你想要, miss就會cup俾你的. 佢話個miss叫佢地呢樣個樣, 但係佢地都無人識做喎.

I've just checked for the 2-2.8 yrs range class for Jan-Jun next year, unfortunately it's already full. I want to ask if your kids joined their 幼兒班 before? Once accepted by HKCC, is it easier to keep continue to their higher class?
