My girl has been attending K1 in a local school, we've just come to terms that local school does not suit her needs, is it too late to apply to international school now?  How should I go about it?  Any advise would be very much appreciated!

吾算好遲，吾少小朋友都係K2轉去IS讀P1，我女舊年都有大約8-10個同屆同學走咗去IS。

即使今年K3，有IS offers都好似有幾個。越遲考係越難，因為要真系考核，位亦少咗，但事在人為，無話吾得既。

Thanks very much Jane for your kind reply, so how should I go about applying? So sorry for these basic questions, I feel so lost as our decision to switch is quite sudden, now I feel like I'm too late and don't know where to start...  Should I be going on to each school's site and look for application forms? Should I call up each school? Or is there something I should do like just send my girl's school report with a letter to the school regardless?  
And does it mean I should just aim for K3 admission and not even bother to try K2?

You should go to visit every school's site. Some take kid at the age of 3, some take them at age of 4 or 5. The mass intake usually at age of 5.
The popular one is CAIS, CIS, CDNIS, ICS, HKIS, GSIS, AIS ( us and Australia ).
This is good time to explore as usually the application opens around aug to oct.

間間吾同，上學校網站搵晒資料，K2報Esf，RC， ISF，Cais...等，係易過K3先行動好多，因為越遲位越少。

另外，亦可以望埋啟思和 Vsa，它們的課程活動d，都適合吾受傳統果套的小朋友。

I am in same situation as u, my girl has just finished K1 in local K this June... But luckily, 2 wks ago, I called few IS K to see if any luck to let my girl get into K2. Surprisingly, Anfield offered an immediate interview to my girl on next day and accepted her as K2 student... U could try to call Anfield as I know that they still have very few vacancy available for K2. Go action ASAP if u decided IS for ur kid, good luck!

If you have made up your mind to change to IS, it is better to apply now than later. Don't wait for the K3. The longer you are in the LS stream, the harder it is for you to switch to the IS stream.

My kids are still very young yet I am interested to know why you switch from local to international at this point of time.  Can you share your experience?
