O, my son is in P1G as well, what's the name of your daughter (please check pm) ? I guess I would know who she is after knowing her name, my son told me his classmates names and I had read the book with all the classmates' photos and description.
You said the new school campus will be very near to your home ? So, you are living in Ma On Shan ? Me too ! Is this the reason why you chose this school ?
For me, in fact I applied for ESF school (SJS) for my son as first priority. Just like most of the parents, I preferred ESF while treated Phoenix as second choice. Then, we got no interview from SJS but had taken the interview and school visit of Phoenix. Honestly, my perception towards Phoenix changed after that and also after I talked to other parents, some of those are Phoenix parents. Now, I would say, even if SJS offer my son an interview, most likely I won't take it. Cos' I really think that Phoenix is a good school, most importantly, my son really enjoys it. I do think changing school is not a good thing for kids, unless it's necessary. There are few things I like about Phoenix : i) IB ii) Chinese emphasis iii) new campus in MOS. Also, the principal, teachers and staff are very nice people.
What do you think ? Let's share more.
