Yes and students with IB score over 35 can mostly be admitted to a lot of subjects in the top 3 local universities in HK( HKU , CU and UST) according to the university admission history in recent years .
Of course, if one is targeting competitive degrees in HOng Kong local universities such as Medicine, Law , IB scores over 42-44 are required in recent years. If one is just targeting to get admitted to HKU, I think IB score of over 35 should suffice.
