I think the reason why we struggling are:
1. The school lack of proven track record, of course we all know Harrow UK has a long history, we are not sure Harrow hi as it has opened for a few years and I find that not much information can be obtained in Internet

2. The Chinese learning level there in Harrow hk

I don't worry about the teaching of chinese. I had chosen 2 hours chinese+spanish.Instead, I am more concern about education of cultural and behavior.
In my view, it is less important of acedemic achievement than a good habit of learning. That is why I choose an international school.

I don't know much about the senior school at Harrow. Within the lower school at which my kid has been studying for two years, i hardly find many complaints from other parents. Almost everyone is satisfied with the teaching and dropout rate is low. It is very British school with the majority of teachers from the UK. Kids would easily pick up English accent. As both senior and lower schools are housed in the same campus, i like the fact that kids at the lower school including kintergarden could enjoy much more comprehensive facilities such as indoor swimming pool and play field which are not common at other primary schools in hong kong. I used to have education in the uk and hence am convinced with its curriculum. Anyway it does not mean the school is perfect as each family has its own different considerations.

I share your view on behavior.  I have no doubt that its academic and facilities which i think are one of the best in Hong Kong, but is it the case of disciplinary matters? Somehow we are not affluent, will the little kids become more "離地" when they grown up? that's our major cocern.

Harrow has the same kind of discipline requirements found in a typical British school. In fact i met a parent from the senior school in a gathering  last year, complaining the school was too strict. Also because his son aimed at US university, he was transferred to HKIS this year. That is an example why the school may not suit everyone. Harrow is located at Tuen Mun. I discover its remote location in NT may result in a more diverse of family backgrounds at the modest levels relative to some schools in the hong kong island. Almost all teachers who at best are considered middle class have their kids studying at the school. I also notice the school is increasingly involved in the community services and interaction with the local schools in the tuen mun area. At the end of day, whether 離地 or not I believe more than 50% depends on the parents behaviour. Sometimes we , not the schol, may give too much and be too protective  to the kids.  It is my own thoughts. Hope it does not offend anyone.

My son is a first-cohort graduate from Harrow HK. What easyparent has described about the lower school is also applicable to senior school. Harrow HK is a typical UK boarding school with strict discipline and strong emphasis on all-round, whole-person development. For a newly opened international school, the academic results, in particular the GCSE and AL, are pretty outstanding, comparable to top 50 UK boarding schools with 15-20% sixth-form students getting offers from Oxford / Cambridge. Most students are from upper-middle class or above, as the tuition and boarding fees are quite expensive, not to mention the capital levy or debenture.
As easyparent has appropriately mentioned, whether it is a 'good' or 'perfect' school depends on what you aim for your kid's education. If you prefer UK-style education, aiming at your kid studying in UK for tertiary education, Harrow HK can be a good choice.
