My children will attend Ling Liang Tsuen Wan in Sept 2015. Oldest into K3 and the other into K1.
The teacher in Tsuen Wan told me that all their teachers are equipped to teach the children via music. They dont teach children to write formally until 2nd semester in K2. Children are encouraged to do lots of free painting, play dough and crafts to develope fine motoric skill ready for holding pencils.
At least in Tsuen Wan, it is not a typical traditional Chinese school. My children will enjoy it I think because we are coming from Europe back to HK. It will be a good place for my kids to settle into a Chinese education institution. |
