Some schools formally provide another queue for siblings; some schools provide special consideration for siblings (e.g. guarantee final interview); while some other schools explicitly state that they would not provide any special consideration for siblings. So, it really depends on the policy of each school.
That's the unfair part of the game. If the first child is in a 直資, the second child may not have the privilege of getting in the 直資 as those in 津貼學校. But these second child deprives the 5 marks as those who are first born. So they probably can't get a place in those good school.
Totally agree. No system is perfect. That's why we need to learn rules of the game and don't let our ignorance to deprive the chance of our kids. I've gone through this and lucky 'sail' my way safely. Hope all other BK parents can do it as well.
