已收到以上3間offer,請問那間升小一派位比較好？直資／官津小學都可以。另個人比較喜歡小兒讀上午班。請大家比的意見，多謝！

I want to know too as I got the offer from SPC and 北角衛理堂. SPC is more famous, but   衛理堂 may be good for 衛理 primary school. Please help!

If you target Hennessy primary school or Wanchai zone 12, of course should choose 呂郭.  If you like methodist primary school, you should choose methodist church kindergarten.

How about SPC? SPC is more famous but they will move to North Point from next year.
I think the location of the school will not affect the "zone", but your home address will assign the "zone", right?

參巧下各校小學派位的統計，可能會幫到你。以我所知衞理堂差不多多百份百可以直上小學，我同事個女讀過，好開心，老師好有愛心，但課程淺，佢小學係後補入到港大同學會小學，但一開學就追得好辛苦，我同事話：點解好多野同學識，我個女唔識！正路我會簡spc, 入得呢d龍頭學校，小學派位應該唔會差得去邊，不過現實中，我簡左呂郭，呂郭收左我已經無去in  spc了，因為目標鮮明，小學想入軒小或聖雅各，所以條path應該係簡呂郭。

Location of school will not affect the zone.  But 呂郭 has good relation with Hennessy Primary.  In the first round 自行分配, the application can be cross-district.  In this case, 呂郭 will take advantage to enter Hennessy Primary.  For example, 1 child from Methodist Church and 1 child from 呂郭 and both of them have 15 points only.  The child from 呂郭 should have advantage than the child from Methodist Church.

gwlam, I thought if there are 2 15 points student and 1 seat only, it would be a lucky draw? I didn't know the school would also look at other factors in 1st round.

ffaye, theoratically yes.  But the first round is managed by the school and not by the 教统局.  Who knows whether the school really allocate the seat by lucky draw at the first round?  

I've a cousin whose sons study at 呂郭.  They mentioned that the principal from Hennessy Primary always performed speech at 呂郭.  If you really eager to get into Hennessy Primary, you can talk to the principal of 呂郭 and try.  I'm not sure whether this is true or not.  But, in fact is, over 30% of 呂郭pupils can go into Hennessy Primary.
