My son is studying in an ordinary primary school in Shatin (I don't want to disclose the school name as the principal only wrote one reference letter to DBSPD in my son's form).

During this year, he is the second in class. I think the success factor is that the principal has written an excellent reference letter to DBSPD for him. Also, he has done well in the entrance written test. I had bought the P.3 exercise books for him when he was in P.2.

His ECAs/profile are as follows:
1. Grade 5 dist. in Piano (P.2);
2. Grade 1 1st runnerup in piano (K.2), Grade 2 1st runner up in Piano (K.3) & Grade 3 Champion in Piano in school music fest (P.2);
3. Cambridge Starter 13 stars (P.1) & Mover 15 stars (P.2);
4. Silver cert. in Table Tennis (P.2);
5. 50 m. Cert. in swimmings including breast; free-style & back-stroke (P.2).
6.  Trinity English drama & speech cert (K.3);
7. English class;
8. Mandarin class;
9. Go class;
10.  Computer class;
11. Drawing class

Don' t be disappointed for your son and I think every road goes to Rome. Hope my son's profile can give you some insights. In fact, my son failed in last year's P.2 admission. Bty, does your son promote to P.3 this year and which school does he study?
