Hi.
I let my small boy focus on conversation skill in K1 & K2. (writing and concentration are big problem).Then learn reading and writing at K3. Up to now (K3), english & maths is much better than others and chinese is average. Overall he is in the upper quarter of his class. Don't worry too much, education is long term plan for 20 years. When the time come, they can walk and they can talk and of course can write...
FYI, We turned down the offer from kv for k1 as we know "it is big problem for small boy to learn writing in K1". It is important to select the right "kinder" which match their development plan.
