My girl was interviewed on the first day....Head mistress only asked her name and who brought her there...not even address nor which school

she was first interviewed by the teacher.. asking for difference? and then she are being asked to read a book because the other girl has not yet finished. Guess because she speak less
My girl said headmistress did not ask anything about report nor profolio but i notice there is some marking on my original report...

My girl said the headmistress didnt talk to her much...

Do you think Mrs. Dai will concentrate on how the parents present during the interview? When my daughter finsihed her interview, we crossed a girl with her parents holding a cello coming for the interview.

but needless to say, all here who has second interview for DGJS is very outstanding. From what I know from my daughter, the 2 listening comprehension may be ok to many girls, but the reading comprehension is not something many kids can accomplish.
I do agree the presentation from the kids are important and how Mrs. Dai perceive them, afterall, seems like she has abosolute say!

my daughter told me she used stamps to stamp on the correct answers, 1 chinese listening (she did mention is watching a video once, but I am not too sure if it is really a video), 1 english listening and for the reading comprehension, she said it's 3 sentences and answer two questions. she said hers was a dog chasing "something".
3 questions for listening comprehension = 6 answers in total. and 2 questions for the reading comprehension.

After being interviewed by headmistress, my daughter was asked to read the books by herself, she really read it out for both English and Chinese book, whereas she said the other girl didn't read it out... I'm not sure whether the kids should read quietly by themselves or vise versa😓

She didnt tell me much about the first interview....she only told me that she finished every task "quickest"....not necessarily means "correctly"...so I have doubt if she is doing good or not in the 1st interview.....

I also have doubt if it means anything for 1st day candidates...because I know some other girls from CCKG...very smart ones....they are either the end of 1st week or mid of 2nd week....

I am thinking if those marginal ones are all scheduled on the first day so that she can filtered them out quickly....instead
