Actually most students from international school also need tutorials service,but less serious than those from local school, by the way, they really improve understanding from tutoring, not like local students whose need exam skills only. Therefore, there's little difference between international students and local students

My children both know that I would not be paying for regular tutors, and thus they would seek help from teachers after classes if they need extra help. They would also search online if they think they need more reference materials. So far so good.

Unfortunately, the amount to tutoring do not seem to be related to the final grades (and thus the chance of getting a place at your so called "god subjects"). So no matter what, I would not be paying for those regular tutors.
Short term classes (e.g. summer programs) would be a different story.
