Hi there! We have been looking forward to joining Kentville in Sep this year.

Just wondering if there are many HK Island families at the school? Do people end up moving to Kowloon Tong or persist with taking their kids to school everyday since no school bus runs to HK Island? Does anybody have any experience to share please? Thanks!

Same here ! I did check out houses in Kowloon tong ! But still get used to live in hk side !

So frustrated about logistic problem

Hi HSummer!

Will you be taking your child to the school yourself? I heard there is a HK Island/ Kowloon Tong nanny bus available. However, as I have never lived in Kowloon myself, I just want to wait and see. Perhaps we will try the nanny bus in K2 when everyone is at the pm session.

My relatives think I am making the wrong call on the choice of school as we were also admitted to the good kindies on HK Island. Sometimes I do wonder if I should have put my kid to a school near our home rather than a school I think is best suited to his character to realise his potential ..... aiya!

Same case here!!! My in laws dun really happy about picking the school in Kowloon tong ! I used to bring the baby to school myself when he was in PN class coz its near my place.

I'm very struggle too

Hi, all...my son will be promoted to K3 in Sept...I lived in Kln side b4, due to some reasons, I moved to HK Island last year (that he was in K2)...I sent & picked him up by myself...

Be aware that I contact a nanny bus (operated by Mrs.Tam, she is a quite well known nanny bus operator), she promised that there is a bus for me, 叫我放心, however, 臨開學前一日, i call her to ask about the pick up arrangement, she told me no bus for me & then cut the line...so, i only want you all to be aware of her....

Thanks for the reminder!

What is the traffic condition esp at the tunnel like? We timed it once and it only took 12min from the HK side tunnel entrance to the school by car and around 18min from the school to HK Is (but not at peak traffic though). Do you think 30-40min is ok at regular times? We are in the a.m. class for K1.

HSummer - guess you know what is best for your child and I am sure you have done a lot of research to have picked Kentville too. I had similar criticisms for my choice of PN from my in-laws too (it was not within walking distance from home), but it turned out to be a great choice for my son! "Add oil"!

I hope I make a right choice ！I just worried about the travelling for my baby ! Guess always traffic in Kowloon tong ! I think I will send / pick him up to school by myself ! I dun really trust the nanny bus actually ! Pssd which campus ya baby is going for k1, my boy also in am class

Are kids still studying in KV? I just got the KV am offer but I m living in Central, how the nanny bus arrangement for your kids? Tks very much!

Hi all,

same situation here, my son is attending a good kinder near our home but we have decided to send him to KV next year , am K 1 as well....still struggling whether to move house or find a nanny bus....
