可否講吓播道的課程? 如英文在一,二年級教什麼? 用什麼 READERS?
P.1 & P.2 – Backpack, P.2 readers – Chicken Run
英文科是否全由外藉老師教?
no
(As I know, one NET class teacher for P.2 last year but not for us)
還是一星期教一兩堂phonics/oral 嗰種?
P.1 – phonics (not sure how many sounds per lesson), it teaches during Eng. lesson.
P.2 – seems not.
而其他科又是否由"全英語" 教?
No.
Chi/Eng or Chi/PTH.
普通話程度如何?
What’s your standard?
For me, so so.
It’s seems not much important as I think before.
The school haven’t teach the pronunciation yet.
而普通話老師是從內地請來嗎?
I don’t think so.
因如從北方來的其音準和文學修養都會好好多.
No idea but I don’t totally agree with the teachers come from 北方來的其音準和文學修養都會好好多.
It depends on her own.
而在數學堂,老師是否都用全英語教呢?
No. Chi/Eng.
課程又如何呢？
What do you expect ?
Compare with other school ?
Let’s say, it will be lower standard or easier than the traditional school at this moment.
safarimama, it’s difficult to say it's hard or easy, everybody have different standard and it can’t only refer to materials.
For example, one of Kowloon School also use same GS textbooks with us but the requirements are totally different.
(For last P.1, they require to spell the words but we don’t need so I found difficult in exam.
This year, students are require to play puzzle game, I feel this arrangement is better than last year as students can review words in advance otherwise they will hard to study for exam.
I think this is one of the reasons why P.1 parent have queries on our previous P.1 parent – why they said it is easy?)
I don’t think we need to compare with other schools or other students.
We are no need to put too much concern about the standard which is high or low (parents always feel too easy), we should more concern about our children, do they have ability to handle ?
To be honest, I feel the standard of PTH is not enough, they can learn more.
For English, I must say most of them have fully confident to speak, at least they won’t afraid of it, it is very important.
Contrary, some of them will feel difficult in Chinese.
Overall speaking, the standard is accept for me, may be I’m not put too much focus on it, but, I do hope teachers can put more effort on solve problems when students raise out the questions, it can let them to have more confident/interest to find out the truth/reasons.
They will have interest to learn by their own.
They are happy in school life.
I hope the above can let you know more about standard.
Once again, the above only represent my understanding/opinion.
Anyway, I will double check with child tonight. |
