My case is very funny too! I apply the form on 22/9-5:00pm. That is T1, then the lady ask me, can you come for tomorrow interview at 3:00pm, so fast? My girl is morning school, therefore , I said OK. (May be some interview cancel for T3 or the messy admin.office's arrangement problem, then change mine and recall again.???) My friend also apply form in the early morning on the same day 22/9, she need to wait for the schedule!
For me,the interview date is T3, I check to SMC twice on 23/9 morning time, and the answers are same. If T3 still interview, T8 will stop. Then I attent the interview, we spent two hours there and I saw that the SMC students little messy. (may be due to T3 problem). I also met some friends there, they all said wait 2 hours in the hole procedure, and I saw that 90% is india candidate.
I'm still waiting there further result????

Do you mind to share your 2nd interview experience ? My 2nd interview on next Monday?
Only parents ??? but may only I can go, my husband in work. So will affect the result??

We had the 2nd interview on 9/27. SMC will make offer during this meeting so I think it's ok that your husband does not go.

The vice principal will share with you your kid's performance in the 1st interview, some info about the school teaching philosophy. They have the offer letter ready on the table before we enter the room.

Hi aniwong,

I cannot comment as I don't know much about Wong Kam Fai. I can just say I like SMC for its:

1) small class size (80 per grade to be divided into 3 groups for Chi/Eng/Maths)
2) English environment with many NETs and 20% non-Chinese students
3) interactive teaching approach
4) good comments from existing SMC parents - many of them are helpful & willing to share what they know

My boy was accepted by both schools last year. We chose SMC and so far with no regret.

You will learn more about the school in the 2nd interview on Monday. We found one of the purposes of the 2nd interview is for a two-way communication allowing the parents to understand further on the school in details (for sure of NO wrong matching).

Hi all,

We will hv our 2nd interview tomorrow, as from the comments from this forum, it seems to be a further meeting with parents to explain the school policy and to offer the seat for my kid. Am i correct? Do we have to accept the offer right away, or can we go home and think it over again?
