記得學校講過在G1上學期都會用小小中文附以教學，等學生可以容易適應，遲些就會用回全英上堂:

I beleive teachers will adjust the language to English solely when kids have been settled down.   Kids have just started the primary school life for one week,  please allow them be free for this moment.  I pick this school because I don't like schools giving lot of pressure to kids and teaching primary 2 books at P1.

Anyway, we can express our concerns to classteachers tonight or by phone.

Dear all,

I will be attending the parents night tonight.  Any of you want me to 'drop notes' for you?  I think tonight's seminar will be more important than Sat one as we will see their class teachers.  I am excited to see how my son gets on with his new life.  He seems to enjoy it and said primary life is better than kindergarten life!

By the way, my son's handbook wrote '週記' on it.  How to do it?  I just asked him to write whatever he wanted to tell your teacher on the first week.  
Beside, I think his LA worksheet was very strange, how can a P.1 student just from kindergarten can write the '校訓'.  It would be much better if they can just fill in the blanks or joining lines/matching.

Hello!

My daughter enjoys the class very much.  At first, I worried if she could know what her class teacher was talking about.  But now, I find my girl has improved so much in comparison with K3.   

P.1 life is really powerful.  The stimulation is so effective.  She is eager to read English/Chinese story books and speak English.  She told me that Ms Din's speech is beautiful.  

It's a really good start.

Let them feel free to drop down hand note, assignment and message from the teacher. Even thought he may forget something, he should responsible for his schoole things and behavious he made. Don't worry!

My son also to be allocated in "Green" group and also studying in class 1E.

My daughter said that her group members are quiet, and they go to class 1E to attend the Group Eng class.   Oh! My daughter is at class 1D.  

Yes, Headmaster said the class teacher of 1A or 1B is a lady who is a native Eng teacher though she is a Chinese.   I do not worry about the qualification of the Eng teacher but I concern the discipline of class.  

Do you hear any English groups's comments from your son ?

"turquoise"  group, and she stays in 1B classroom during English lessons. I think she is in the same group with your son.  btw, do you know which page of the spelling book should be done today? My girl wrote "spelling p.1 spelling test p.1 monday phonics..." on the student planner today. But after checking the book, nothing can be done by students. I think it should be p.4. what do you think? and what is spelling test ? do they have to spell all ten words on P, 4 ?

My daugher told me that she had to go upstairs to attend the English lesson.

I think we should prepare a book bag (to put in the spelling book, phonics work sheets, stationery, etc) for the kids to carry around.

Bag of English group:

There is a blue re-cycle bag with school name distributed in the English class for kids to carry Eng books to other classroom.

yeah, my son stays in his own classroom during english lesson.  HOwever, he didn't write anything about the spelling test!  The planner really puzzles me because he always put no/little space between words with spelling mistake also!  I'll ask him again tonight.
