pls advise which colour of rose should be brought? also, how the kid manage the rose with 剌?

totally agreed. it is also a good chance to train up my EQ and learn to be a parent to help the kid in different developmetal stages.

Hi Centre,

We should bring red rose to the school. The flower shop will take away the 剌 and wrap with plastic bag before let the kids hold it. So, don't worry.

Dear All,

Have you ordered the periodicals from school? I've ordered both the Joyful Vanguard and the Vox Amica Pictorial for my son. When I take a first look, it totally surprises me. The content is so advance that I am sure my son won't understand much even upon my explanation. For the two game books, my elder daughter who is in P3 now needs substantial thinking and hints before she can answer the questions. But she found it fun to read them anyway. I think the books should aim at Primary rather Kinder.

In this morning, my boy is so excited to get the roses in the flower shop b4 taking sch. bus. Oh! he is perfectly right to have the red rose but i suggest the pink rose

as for Mother Maria.

Have u heard yr boys singing the "Mid-Actumn" song: 天空月光格外圓....好好聽! 祝大家中秋節快樂!

Hi all,

My son took 2 days' leave for yesterday and the day before yesterday (we need to go overseas to attend a wedding ceremony and my boy was asked to be the 'Ring Boy'

)

Oh..... I totally forgot that we need to bring rose to school in Oct. tim

Will start next week!

Yes ordered, not yet rec'd.

My boy got a lot of Noddy cartoon VCDs already. Hope the contents of these VCDs from school are different lah

In the weekly summary sheet, I saw the rhymes taught last week is "hickory....." but my boy insisted that teacher taught "humpty, dumpty.."

What's wrong?

My son also said the teacher taught "humpty, dumpty..."
So every class's syllabus are the same....
Either the summary sheet is wrong or what...I didn't investigate ..
But my son said the rhymes are taught as poem not song....quite interesting.

Hi parents,

Did your boys insist to go to Victoria Park or beach to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival?

I guess it's teachers to introduce to them the events in parks / fruit to eat, etc. etc. so my boy requested his grandma to buy a lot of fruit today and packed mooncakes, lantern and beach mat this morning and 'instructed' us to take him to Victoria Park tonight

I don't think I have chance to 'escape' this time.

Did your kid tell u to prepare an empty milk carton? My MM son asked me to get him one to bring back on Mon!! But I'm in doubt.

How could I check? (as the teachers told us not to call them)

Hi nattyma,
First of all, you must try to believe and trust your son. The teacher will always to tell the kid to buy /bring /tell to parents in future day but you don't know these is true or not. The teacher do not tell to parent. I think they want to train the kid even they forget . I think the teacher hope the kid will remember next time if they forget but all the other kids can do it. So, you must ready to do and accept everything . You son may tell to bring or buy something during the last minute before go to school.So, I will ask my son what the teacher talk about or any thing need to carry to school everyday.

My son also tell me the Humpty...... poen. It is the right one because he don't know the other song more. He can tell the sentence. I also want to ask what time will I carry the rose ? I forget to carry. Next week OK/not. Coming wed is the chinese dictation and next thur ( not the coming one) is the eng. dictation. It is difficult for me to teach him spelling the eng. Otherwise, I plan to have a 2day trip to 長隆 zoo. Have you any suggestion or idea?Thank you. Have a nice 中秋
