It really depends on the child's ability, which varies a lot before 10. Among the 15 books, some are more easy, e.g. the magic finger, fantastic Mr. Fox, which I think is generally suitable for P.2-3. Some are thicker and more difficult, e.g. boy, going solo, which is generally suitable for upper primary students. For Roald Dahl, the first one my son started is The Enormous Crocodile (not included in the box set) at P.1. Since then, he keeps reading his books regularly, esp, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the Elevator. |
