佢同時有報英華，但2nd interview 已無份！

皇仁每年會預留不多於8個學額給特異功能的學生進入。所以每年面試日都有人手持各式各樣的樂器或體育器材等侯面試。

阿囡同學全級考30幾都收。

只要成績係屬於band 1組別，可以循跨區統一派位甲部或者同區就可經甲、乙部抽獎進入。

Thanks for the advice. I got your point and I agreed on that.

He is in the athletic school team and joined some District (Western Kowloon) 100m or 60m race. He can join the final 8 but can't get any prize (normally rank 5-7).

He was chosen to be Maths. School team and I'm thinking of pushing him in joining some Olympic Maths competition and hope he can get some prizes.

He is quite a kind of all rounded kid but unfortunately no "spike".

全級~top5-7% is top 1-3? You know your son's top 3 classmates' choice are same as you??

One supplyment on the academic..
His school has >160 students in a form and a Boys/Girls school. Normally, he ranks 6-9 among the form and so I mentioned top 5-7%. There are around 4-5 boys better than him. So, I would rather to choose not so "hot" top brand school for him.

Thanks for all valuable advice.

You well described my concern and my dilemma.

I recalled many many years ago, when I was in P.6, even though my academic result is good but unluckily, I got the No. 6 choice in the Secondary school allocation and this is a very common Eng. school. I was so sad at that time.
Even though, I had a happy secondary school life and I got the best HKCEE result in that school. I chose a very famous Secondary school and that 2 years of F.6-7 was not a happy experience to me indeed. I can see the advantages and the disadvantages of famous brand school.
So, my point is that the Secondary school is not the most important and the most important is the student himself/herself.
This may apply to my son now.

Anyhow, I'll use 平常心, 順其自然.

Hope all the parents find a good match of Secondary school with their kids.
