1. Students behaviour

Has improved a lot.  About 70% of 1st cohort of secondary 1 students was from non-VSA primary section when the secondary section was opened about 8 years ago.  I am not saying VSA primary students are better than outsiders, but simply teachers will be more familiar with VSA primary students including their conduct/behaviour.

There are no doubt spoiled kids at school.  What is important for me is how school handle any misconduct, and I know school takes any misconduct very seriously.  I know at least one case where a student was asked to leave the school due to misconduct.

One more point:  

Starting 2011/12 school year, secondary section starts from year 6.  Less than 15% of current year 6 students are from non-VSA primary.

Thanks, that's good to know.  Do you know the US or UK results as well since I would imagine that is where most of the students want to go?

Interestingly almost 40% of last year's cohort went to Us in HK.  One who studied law at HKU will go to Oxford this year.  Heard that she finds the way of teaching at HKU too too traditional.

I tried looking for the same figure for ISF's class for comparison but it is not available online.  Will try to find it next time I visit the school.
