Back to the level he can handle, get the foundation build up, step by step.. this is the only good ways of learning, especially for kids that need more time to learn.

No miracles for learning outcome, unless the kids are gifted or with exceptionally high IQ, they do have really quick learning pace, with surprising fast reading and writing abilities. Normally, we still need to build up foundation.

Some parents asked their kids to "memorize" composition during exam, if the kid is lucky, then the marks is high, but this is a really bad habits. I know some school teachers encouraged kids to memorize "composition" model answers. Really bad habits.

Nothing can be achieved without efforts and finding out the needs of your specific child..

handle the kid's issue by yourself, tutors may not understand, the exercise may not understand.
