Greenfield (Long Beach) vs Funful (kln tong)??

My kid is now in Greenfield.  It's good since class size is small and there is 1 NET & 1 PTH teacher!  Also there is appropriate amount of homework!
You get Greenfield offer? AM or PM?

I see!
My kid just starts this month and the alphabet taught is now up to "I".  And he can also sing whole ABC song & sometimes PTH song!  So I'm quite satisfied with the teaching standard of the school!
But I have no idea in Funfun!  So can't give any advice on that!

Did you have interview in Greenfield very early or just recently?

Yes, I think it's really expensive but to be frank, i think it worths that value.  The NET are all "golden hair", not Indian or ABC (I have no negative implication/discrimination on it).  And the class size is just 8-11 students.  Most important thing is there is no other misc. fee, other than uniform!  And their school fee payment is quite relax - no need to pay 1 month's advance payment as deposit and they won't urge you to pay like other schools which always remind u that late charge would be imposed!
But I agree it's expensive as it is similar to those kinder in Kln Tong with misc. fee added!

Agree with you!  Other than the school fee, I have no other complaint!
And maybe because it's a small school (4 am classes & 2 pm classes)  and so they can memorize all the students!

I know there is school bus service for am class only but not pm class!  Maybe they will have it in coming Sept but you better check with the school!

U can write to them to request for change of class so that they can put your request in record.

Is it a famous one? I think I will compare the fee level coz' GF's fee is comparatively high when compared to those famous kinder!  But of course, you also need to include the school bus fee if you need to travel by school bus to Kln Tong but not in GF.  

As I don't have other better offer (other than York but only head start class is provided in Feb next year), I will continue at GF in coming Sept!  And since recently, the school has helped me to switch my kid from pm to am class, I find really no excuse to change to other kinders at the moment, unless those famous kinders that we're on waiting list have offer finally!

I have no idea and you may call the school to check since they're very nice to answer your queries!
But I guess it won't be as full as those famous one.
BTW, I didn't try their PG before!  So I can't give any advice!
But what I can tell is my kid has great improvement after going school.  He always sings (sometimes in PTH song) and has more to talk e.g. sunny day, rainy day etc.  And there is 1 homework each day (alphabet, numerical, colouring, drawing lines, song book, PTH etc).  I like this style rather than no homework.

But when I calculate thoroughly, Kln Tong school fee is around $4,xxx but you need to add school bus fee say $1000/month & also misc. fee say $1000/semester, it's nearly the same!  At least now, I don't need to travel by school bus!

Mine is 2010 big b! York said their PN is full since I applied late and they offer head start class starting in Feb for us!  They said it would be a mix of PN and K1 curriculum!
May join York in Feb but depends on progress in GF first!

For your info, I know that school bus from school to my estate in Tai Kok Tsui is $450 round trip and $300 single trip!
